So I went into the spare/computer/lizards room and found my best mate kipped out in his water bowl, the lights had gone out, but I couldn't resist saying hello, as you do

,that was met with a grumpy face and an exit stage left over the side of the bowl,I got the camera and tried to persue him around the tank in the dark, the grumpyness was due to him shedding, all the photos were taken with the flash and me guessing his position
CANT I EVEN CHANGE IN PEACE
Right, Bugger off I've had enough, NO,I'm NOT coming back out
THa,tha ,tha,thats all folks!!!!

ah, cool. I think my little guy shed shortly before he arrived, so i prolly have a few weeks before it happens again. But my Schneider's shedding habits were pretty similar to what it seems like they guys do.

Sorry to all I might have scared with the title,
Lisa you were closer than you know, good guess, I've just come back from surfing over the bank holiday w/e, very nice it was to

its still to cold to take him with me on trips, but he will make it to the beach this year, might have trouble getting a wetsuit to fit though

as for the photos I didn't want to booore everyone with too many from one person.
I do have an on topic question though, I wondered why Blue never showed his shedding habits much, is it because he tends to shed at night and is this common to I.J's ,or just my Blue

has there been any research done on this?

Maybe he's not too comfortable with his self image yet and likes to get changed in the dark
I think as he gets older and bigger you might see more of him shedding, because when they're young they tend to explode quicker, like in a day, but mine as they got older took a few more days and they walk around for up to a week with bits hanging off them.
I don't like to help them peel much because I reckon it would be a bit like peeling sunburn off when it's not ready (not that you'd know about sunburn, living in the UK

). That's what they produce oils for under their skin anyway, to do the job for them. Shingles produce so much I reckon you could fry chips in it
Leigh, my boyfriend's asking over my shoulder, he wants to know where you go surfing? He says probably off Cornwall? He's from Ireland, he used to teach surfing at somewhere called Lahinch in Co. Clare and says Ireland's got some good surf spots and that you should go there

Lisa, we surf at Woolacombe and Croyde in north Devon, its an 1Hr 45min drive from my house and the first break in clean water, we do Sennan Cove and Newquay in Cornwall on long stay overs 4Hr + drive, I've got a 71 VW camper van so no chance of day trips there, we're planning a trip to the Emerald Isle, such lovely unspoilt country side, to be honest I'm trying to get a visa to move to Brisbane but I'm a little bit lazy and it'll take a while, and you got to live in the mean time ehh!!

It's not just you, it's like that for everyone.
Unfortunately it was a server problem and all the pics now have to be updated by whoever posted them. Even though it's time consuming, we really should do that. The pics are the second best thing here!
