I would save a really neat head/face shed to photograph, and have a few very large foot sheds lying around somewhere. :paranoid:

Yuri's only shed a few times, so maybe the novelty will wear off but I love his feet sheds, like he's just pulled off a pair of gloves or socks. I only have a couple though but I'm pretty sure I would keep more if I liked them.

When I was on holiday in Gambia last Christmas I made friends with a tiny wee skink that lived in the tree beside my lounger. All the other lizards scarpered whenever anyone came near but he would sit and watch me. I like to think we had an understanding. :) He had a shed half way through the holiday and I found all his tail shed in the tree, so I kept it. I miss 'Wee Man'. :P

I kept one foot shed that I found when he was only a baby. Usually there's only crap bits left that aren't worth keeping.

The foot bit wasn't that great either

Very cool! I get the same crap bits Lisa does. I think all three of them just destroy everything in the process of shedding that even if there were cool pieces by time I get home they are destroyed.

Yeah, none of my guys shed in good pieces, otherwise I would save it. I really regret that I didn't save my tarantula's last molt :( I wanted to, but got busy and never got around to doing it. But next time I will be ready 8).

I tended to save it a lot more when Frankie was in my classroom because the kids loved to look at it and touch it.

I don't save the shed, but I love watching the actually shedding process. I could seriously sit and watch a reptile shedding for hours.

I can't watch without having to help. I like to scratch their backs and watch it all come off.

I keep my perfect snake sheds and donate them to the zoo for education classes.

I've kept some cool bluey sheds (feet and stuff) to photograph but then I toss them.

I have a saved face shed and a couple ear bags, usually the shed gets mixed in with substrate so I don't keep it. I try to keep all my tarantula molts, but then I feel silly and find someone else that wants one so they don't go to waste.

that's great! Another one of Mo's sheds went to a friend of mine in Portland, OR. She keeps it on her dresser and loves to scare people with it! :D
