Deformed-ish leg? And 3 of the nails missing

So I got my first BTS a few weeks back, and I realised that one of the back legs look completely different than the others, and it is also missing 3 of it's nails (it's been like that since I bought it) Does anyone know why this is happening?

The leg could just be that way. As for the nails, it was probably caused by stuck shed that pinched the toes/nails off.
