Skink growing fast
Hi I'm new to keeping blue tongues but I've been researching them for years. My blue tounge, big smoke, I got a few months ago and he's now 8 months old. I did notice he's was quite a bit bigger for his age and I thought he was just going through an early growth spirt and it would slow down but he's grown 4 inches in 2 weeks, going from 20 inches to 24. Is this normal or could I be doing something wrong? Is he just naturally a big boy?

Sounds like a healthy growing skink. However, if you are concerned please post top and side pictures of your skink and we can help you determine how it looks.

I've got an 8 month old darn near adult size. I've seen full grown at 10 months so I wouldn't be concerned unless the opposite was happening! Great work there! Would love to see a picture also.

Tried my best to get a photo but he's a little grumpy today and I didn't want to disturb him too much, I got a good picture from the side though.
