BTS Eating Substrate

Got a new Bluey and her previous owner said she was eating the substrate so she can't have it. I tried our tbe substate with my BTS anyways (under very close supervision). She almost immediately eating the substrate. I need the substrate to keep humidity up and for her enrichment.. what should I do?
