Postby Mowgli_blueskink » Mon Nov 13, 2023 11:53 am

Hello
We recently got our selves an Indonesian blue tongue skink which we’ve named mowgli. Although still unsexed we believe they anre a male. He is around 3 months old now and he’s preparing to go into his third shedding process.

My issue is I think he maybe obese and I’d like some support from others.

Below I have attached photos for you to see

Cheers

I'm pretty new to skinks but in my opinion he looks fine. Skinks are naturally chonky fellas! But take my opinion with a grain of salt.
You're gonna carry that weight...

A three month old could not possibly be obese. They should be fed all they can eat in growing stages. That's about 8 months to a year depending.
