BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

My Blue tongue skink Fred, age around two and a half, is shedding his skin, but it doesn't look normal his scales on his back and neck are coming of ruff and bleeding ( scales on tale, belly, and feat are pretty normal )
the climate has been fairly cold recently and this has happened once before on this lizard.
