Future owner, planning bioactive/need advice

Hello! I'm Isaac, I'm planning out my enclosure mainly- My plan is generally to follow the video for the BTS Bioactive terrarrium by Clint's Reptiles.

The main question: What plants are safe for (and from) a Northern Blue Tongue? Utilizing the 40% play sand 60% (fertalizer free) top soil substrate and some isopods.

I'm also wondering if getting an already adult Bluey would make it harder to bond with?

Other then that- I'm open to any advice, past food, I've got that pretty sorted with the amazing guides from here!

I will say- alot of my knowledge is via osmosis from my sister (who breeds constrictors), and youtube videos. I have only ever owned a goldfish, green anole's, rats/mice, and a cat. So there's alot that can be filled in! (The cat will not even have access to the room I plan on putting the enclosure in, and I don't plan on them ever meeting if possible).

Be prepared to replace plants regularly, as blue tongues burrow and are fairly heavy (plants get dug up and trampled). Not to say you shouldn't do it, just something to be aware of.
I have a northern, so the plants I have require lower humidity. I currently have a snake plant, some air plants, and a rattlesnake plant. I previously had a large pothos but it was immediately destroyed. If you have questions about specific plants, you can search for them in the tortoise table.
