Hi everyone
My pet BTS that I have now had for 3 years has not been eating for around 3 and abit weeks now and has not pooped either.she has Ben active some days and sleeping on the next.I have tried every food option she usually loves to eat and other ones I haven’t tried.I’ve tried giving her an warm bath to relax some muscles incase she is impacted because the last time I gave her a bath she passed some some substrate with it.the substrate I use is aspen shavings . Does anybody have any ideas and suggestions that can help ? She otherwise appears normal and healthy and hasn’t lost any weight.

HI there, what type of skink is this? Also what are your temps and humidity?

Hello there, being you are in Australia I am guessing an Eastern or Northern bts? I do not recommend aspen as it has a tendency to be much too dry and dusty and often causes shedding issues. Easterns and Northerns don't really mind the dryness but aspen is a bit too extreme. Can you post a picture of your skink and setup?
Also, I do not know when they go into season on the other side of the world, but males go through a phase where they have no interest in anything other than finding a mate when they are in season. Mine do not eat for months, and constantly pace back and forth in their cages.
