How to Identify/Distinguish Between Different BTS?

Hi all! I’m new to the forum, as well as BTS in general. I’m a long time reptile/amphibian keeper but just acquired my first Blue Tongue. So far I am super happy with my little guy/girl and am blown away by how intelligent and characteristically similar their personalities are to some of the larger lizards I’ve owned (monitors/tegus).
The thing is, I adopted this lil dude from my local reptile shop after somebody who didn’t want him anymore left him at the door without any information about him, and I’m concerned about identification. The owner of the shop, who has a BTS himself that looks nearly identical, told me his was an Indonesian and so he assumes mine is the same, but I don’t feel comfortable going off that information alone. Honestly from what I can find on the internet, he looks like a northern to me which means I need to make a few changes to his enclosure, but I am operating off of very limited information and experience, so was hoping y’all might be able to help me out.
For some reason the site won’t allow me to post photos over 3MiB, so I’m going to try and post the photos in the comments and hopefully that will work otherwise this entire post is pointless haha.
