Are there any ways that blueys let us know what they need, or things we can look out for? Are there ways we can tell if they're hungry, sleepy, content, needing stimulation, playful, upset, needing to deficate, etc? The only thing I ever seem to know is 1. Grumpy (hissing, huffing, squirmy), 2. Void, and 3. Tasting the air
Any additions or things you've found helpful? Much appreciated

Re: Ways they communicate/body language?
Being grumpy is about the only emotion they posess..what you are describing applies more to a cat or dog than a reptile. They can not tell you what they want, you as a responsible keeper need to figure that out. And reptiles are not easily figured out, they do what they want when they want.
