BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

My skink looks to have something like a scab in his mouth. I can’t really get to it unless his mouth is open to try to clean it. And I can’t get his mouth open long enough to clean it without him freaking out. I just got him to open his mouth for pictures by putting his food bowl in front of him

Is this something to be concerned about? His behavior is normal and he is eating fine. Photos attached

Doesn't look like cause for concern. Try a damp q-tip with a little peroxide on it in case it is a damaged scale.

It looks like just a little dirty. I think it will be ok.
