Graze?

Postby Suzle87 » Mon May 02, 2022 5:49 am

Ventress seems to have grazed his head, one scale appears quite damaged just wanted a second opinion from you guys, he's acting normal, eating really well, pooing normally and has calmed down from being after woman but I think he's dug under something and scraped his head. Doesn't seem yo bother him should I just leave it be?

They often do things to themselves especially during seasonal madness. A long term captive with that kind of thing shouldn't be an issue. My males are always a mess in season, even the ones I allow to breed.

Hey there, I completely agree. Males skinks get crazy when they are searching for a mate. My guess is he bumped it somehow. It should heal up with the next shed.
