Can someone please help me?? New BTS owner. Calcium and D3/ Mercury Vapor Bulb questions

1) Im under the impression ill need a Multivitamin with No D3, Calcium with No D3, and Calcium WITH D3. Is this correct?
2) I plan on using a Mercury Vapor bulb because id rather use one light than 2, but Can use 2 if absolutely necessary. A 150-160Watts MVB, My cage is 36x18x18, so a 36 inch height but I can always use rocks or something to elevate him closer so wondering if 150-160watss is overkill?
3)the Ferguson zone, How far will my bulb need to be? Apparently that MVB has a range of 3 feet. So at an 18 inch height, may it be too much UVB on the animal? The ferguson unit of measuremnt for this says its 2-3.... not even sure what to do with that information.

Thank you. I am actually subscribed to him and watch alot of his videos but I feel I dont ever really get clear answer from them. Or the over explanation confuses me
