What’s up with my skink’s skin?
Hello! This is my 1 year old Halmahera Blue Tongued Skink Xubu, and lately I’ve been noticing that something is up with his skin. There is a patch of what appears to be rough and perhaps dry scales on his body, whilst the rest of him seems fine. The temperature of his terrarium is around 70F on the cool side and 100Fon the hot side, and the humidity is at a consistent 80%. I keep a mister in the terrarium and he takes a soak in conditioned warm water about once a week, so I’m confused as to why his scales appear to be dry and damaged. What changes can I make/treatment have helped with this? Seriously worried about the lil guy.
