Is it a sign of stress for a BTS to climb on to a lot of people?

I recently brought my indo to work Wednesday for a few hours. As soon as she arrived, she climbed on to the first two people she saw. Surprisingly, she didn't hiss or huff when they pet her, however, she was breathing quickly and sticking her tongue out a lot. I managed to take her away and put her in the duffel bag I brought for her when she seemed overwhelmed. I put her and the slightly opened duffel bag where a group was playing DND so I could do a few things. She slowly emerged and started running around the table (much to the DM's dismay) and sometimes clambered on to this guy she seemed to really like. When I was done and the DM decided it was enough, I took her and she stayed with me for the rest of the night.
I will likely not keep her in a situation like that for quite as long again, but I was wondering if those were signs of stress I should be concerned about? I would like to be able to have her as an emotional support animal (especially since I'm moving to a college dorm in September) and bring her places with me.
