Pink scales?

My blue tongue skink has these pink scales under his chin, side of neck under his ears, along his belly and even in between his legs and I think it’s starting to spread to the sides of his face. I have know idea what’s wrong, I put him on 100% cypress mulch btw.
I had a heck of a time trying to take a picture since my phone camera didn’t want to pick up on the redness of his scales.
This is the best one I could take.

Hi there,
What kind of skink do you have? It is a bit difficult to tell from the photo. Pink/reddish scales along the underside and on the neck are a very common colouration and can be quite prominent/vibrant in several species of BTS.

It can be perfectly normal in many species of skinks. From the picture it looks normal and I wouldn't worry.

Same thing happens with mine, it’s just their circulation, just like we sometimes get a little red/pink on different parts of our body.

Taz it is nothing to worry about. They can have a pink variation to the scales on their underbellies.

As replied above - all fine. Didn't mean to make you think otherwise by asking for the photo was just curious.

I have a Indonesian skink and he has a little pink under his neck and he's fine so I think it's nothing to worry about.
