Bought my first blue tongue skink!

Bought this blue tongue skink off a friend today who has just had kids and doesn’t have the space anymore, I don’t know much about him due to him purchasing it about 3 years ago, I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me anything about his/her species or gender,

Unfortunately there may only be speculation at best as they are notoriously hard to sex, but my best guess would be female?

Beautiful Queensland eastern. Based on the round body, smaller head and a shorter chunky tail I would guess it’s female. I have a confirmed male Queensland, he has a bigger head, thinner body and a longer tail.

Agreed! Looks like an Eastern baby. I hope you enjoy your new skink! They're fantastic pets!
