Hello, This is my newish blue tongue skink, I believe he is a northern but would like some other incite attached ais a picture of him before his shed and one after thanks.

Definitely not a northern, I believe he’s an Irian Jaya or meruake.

In this case, visually. It is an obvious Irian Jaya. There are many sources online to identify, and you may confirm by posting here. A disturbing amount of imports are misrepresented as Australian (which would only be captive bred in this country) as the sellers themselves have no clue. Rampant at expos and uneducated pet shop employees.
