BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

So since my last post I took Bajo back to the vet because he was displaying new symptoms which screams RI so the vet gave me some baytril. So far I see a bit of improvement 4 days in but I’m worried there’s not enough for 10 days. So if it does run out before then do I go back and ask for a top up? I tried looking up online if I can buy it but found nothing marketed for reptiles. The closest thing is Oxymav B an antibiotic powder for birds. Is this safe to use on reptiles?

If it looks like Bajo is going to need another course I would say reach out with maybe ~3 doses remaining and see if you can arrange to collect a refill. Hopefully your vet will be allow you to pay and collect it without an additional consult which of course adds to the costs. However he may want to review Bajo to ensure the need for the second course.

Thank you. They didn’t charge me for the second visit and only had to pay for the medicine so maybe they can, I don’t mind if they do want to charge the next consult they’re actually not that expensive.
