How can I clean and help wound healing without infection

All depends on how serious...bad wounds should be treated by a qualified exotic animal vet, everyday cuts and whatnot I use peroxide and keep off substrate until healed. Could you post a picture? What caused this?

Hey splashy thanks for your advice hes got about 5ml cut on middle of belly was bleeding a fair bit I washed the blood off him and not sure what to seal wound with ,it's leading into summer and he's become heaps active he climbed over a piece of glass to try escape out of enclosure and I think that's how it happened been in there for years and never happened before he's eatingg and moving around just worried about infection I'm at work can send a photo later mate
