Cleaning Tank/Shed During Brumation

Hi, our BT has been hidden away now for about a week. I was waiting for her to finish shedding and then was due to clean her tank. Before I could do this, she hid herself away. She also still has shed around her toes. Should I disturb her to try and remove the shed, and to clean the tank - or should I just let her be until she comes out of her own accord? Experienced advice would be much appreciated, thanks. Bex.

Bart sometimes does this. Whenever this happens I usually quickly get him out and rub some mineral oil on his stuck shed, this helps loosen it as well as if it's not ready to come off pulling it off can hurt them, so this works usally well. I think maybe give it a while then change his substrate just to make sure he's not burmating.

If you know there is stuck shed it is best to get out and remove. Mineral Oil or coconut oil works well. Soaks help too. Make sure your humidity is correct. That is usually the reason for stuck sheds.
