BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I was wondering; how fast do baby blue tongues take to reach full size, notably when they aren’t being powerfed (I prefer my pets to live their full lifespan, thank you. )? If there’s any variation in growth times between species I’d be interested to learn about that too. I plan on getting a northern, and am also wondering if a 4’ long enclosure is too small? I’ve read a good few care guides that recommended that size (some said smaller, but I don’t believe them), but it just seems so small for a lizard that size!

So usually a Northern will be full grown around 8-10 months. I keep my adult male Northern in a 4ft by 2ft by 2ft. They love floor space. The more the better.
