Hello! I recently bought a bts about a month ago on February 13th. It is an irian jaya and i keep it in a 4'x2'x2'. All his temperature and humidity conditions are met, I have not lowered the temperature at all. However, the problem is he has not been active at all for nearly a week now. He used to eat all the food we offered, and now he eats a bit less and less often. I am not sure if he is sick or trying to hibernate. I live in Ohio and it is March, but in his enclosure I have shown no signs of colder temperatures, which is what confusing me if he is brumating.

So your skink could be about to go into shed. Sometimes when they do this, they will slow down or stop eating and then hide. Then all of sudden out they come and they are shedding. If he is still acting strange after another week and no shedding, then I would have them checked. I wouldn't think he would be brumating right now.
