BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I recently got my baby from another owner but lately her eye/eyes have redness in the corner and she’s been getting the bedding caked on as well as one eye stays closed

Personally I saw very similar symptoms from my boy when I first got him and he had a respiratory infection so you may want to check for other symptoms of that. He was a very sick baby though so it may have been something else

She’s a very happy girl and active but it seems the corner of her eye was rubbed raw and her substrate gets on it I have to rinse her off often

What type of BTS? What are your temps/humidity? Can you post picture of your skink and setup?

I take it you mean that you have two skinks, an Indonesian and a baby?

I don’t know a ton yet (still learning myself!), but perhaps we can use reasoning some simple reasoning to figure out what the problem is? Since we don’t know what kind of bluey the baby is, we can assume that it’s some kind from Indonesia, since you already have one (just a guess. What kind of skink it is would still be good to know). Two Indonesian species would likely be cared for similarly. So are there any similarities between the two enclosures?
