I don't have a good picture of his underside, but it is black with some checkering. I have been supplying him with ~80% humidity because I suspect that he is a Halmahera, but I want to be sure. Thanks!

Looks very much like a Halmahera or one of the similar island locale Indonesian skinks. 80% humidity is a good baseline to provide.
