I let my skink roam free for a few minutes. My Glade oil diffuser thing leaked and she got into it. I am trying to take it off with water and a rag. Is there anything else I can do? Is it going to affect her??

If it just happened and you made sure to wash all the oil off, it showed be ok. I would call the vet in the morning and let them know what happened. The skink didn't ingest any did it?

Just one more reason I am not a fan of the free roam thing. I could go on all day with nightmarish stories I've heard over the years.

My partner and I grabbed a kid pool from our local big box store to use as a "Free Roam" area in the backyard. Just wanted to float that as an option. We are always with the animal keeping an eye on them, and we have bedding/substrate along the base, as well as a few hides and things to crawl over. I understand wanting to interact with them outside of their enclosure but I agree with the other commenters that true free roaming is dangerous!
