How to find skink poop?

I got my northern last Saturday evening around 5pm so it's been about 3 days. I fed him some bananas and snails for treats yesterday after leaving him alone all night Saturday and all day Sunday to get comfortable in his new home, and plan to feed him his dog food, greens, and veggies later today.

I know it's not too long of a time frame since I got him, but I can't seem to identify any poo in his tank what so ever. I know they're brown with white urate at the tip, but is it possible he's burying that? Do they even bury their business? Any help, or even pictures, would be appreciated. He's got a top substrate layer of repti bark if that helps, so I'm thinking I'm just not looking hard enough and its blending in color wise. If he's got one or two in there I want to be able to take it out.

Yes they do sometimes play hide the poo... mine went through a phase of it. One sure fire way to guarantee you find it is use your hands haha sounds gross and it is but i guarantee its like its magnetised to find it! The other way is to get your head in the viv and follow your nose... both those have never failed me in times of hidden poos!

Aw jeeze, I was afraid of that lol. Do either of your skinks usually go in the same place or is it not consistent? I'm taking him in for a check up to make sure he's healthy tomorrow so I think I'll use the time he's in his carrier to do a quick search around to see if I can find any.

My female easterns always go in the same place. I simply put newspaper there and change it daily. My shinglebacks pretend their cool end hide is the bathroom. They like their privacy. I have to check in there every day. Everyone else just goes wherever the heck they please, even sometimes in their water dish like my water dragons!

Yeah I was afraid mine would do the same thing with his water, so I got a big and heavy waterfall fountain for him to drink out of instead. Plus it looks like a cool skull rock! I would imagine it being too difficult for him to climb in there far enough to stick his butt in and poo lol. He seems to definitely be drinking from it though since I have to refill it more times than I was used to when he wasnt home yet; twice a day instead of once every other day.

I have some suspicions I might know where it is. Thank you guys for your help!
