3 months brumating
Hi there! I’ve had my northern blue tongued skink Pascal since the end of August. He is under a year old and started brumating (I didn’t lower his temps or anything he just did it on his own) in mid October. He has come out twice for food, once in the beginning and one about 2 weeks ago. Both times I thought he was coming out of brumation but he went back into hiding right after. Since it’s coming on 3 months of him brumating I don’t know what I’m supposed to do, do I leave him alone or do I pull him out to wake him up?? I’ve been checking on him regularly to make sure he’s okay but haven’t actually been pulling him out, I realized upon reading in the forum that I should have been tracking his weight (I will start as soon as he is finished!) any help would be appreciated as I’m starting to get stressed, I’m not sure if he will come out when he’s ready or if I need to start bringing him out now. Thank you!!

What are your day/night cycles? You could increase daylight time, but I would leave him be.

I do about 12 hours, usually turn on his light around 10am and turn off around 10pm. Thank you!
