New BTS not moving

Howdy! I'm a new BTS owner. I've been keeping another reptile for years (a ball python)

My question is: My BTS will not move. If I set him in one place, he'll just stay there unless it is extremely dark, in which then he moves a little. I'm not sure if I should be worried, or if I should just let him be. I put blockers all around his enclosure except for on the top so he cannot see me or anything else.

Also, I was worried about getting him to eat. I know his previous diet and put some of what he would've usually eaten in his food dish, but he hasn't touched it. I understand them not eating for a little while getting situated is normal, but at what point should I be concerned?

Thank you all for any help <3!

(This BTS was captive-bred and does not have any illness as I was able to feel for or see.)

What are your temps? What type of BTS? Pictures please. If you did not get from a breeder or private owner may not be captive bred. Many are advertised as such and are not. If from a pet shop most likely imported. Send pictures so we can identify, and we will start there.
