Taking Skink Places
I’ve seen a video of someone taking their skink to a store. Is this okay for a well socialized adult northern? Or would it be too stressful?

I personally don't recommend taking your skink anywhere outside of the home unless it is to the vet or for educational experiences. Most stores will not allow pets in the store with them. Also it can be very stressful on your pet.

Thanks! I figured that was probably the case.

Please don't. Many people are afraid of reptiles and while it may be perfectly legal, a frightened person may still complain to authorities. The majority of "exotic animal" ordinances originate from such complaints. The herp hobby doesn't need any more bad publicity.

Don’t worry, I probably wouldn’t have anyway. And I agree, we get a pretty bad rap. Don’t need to put more “evidence” out there as to why we and our pets are bad.
