Bath time
We have had an Alpine Blue Tongue for 2 1/2 months now. I know that they take a bath in their drinking bowl but does anyone ever take their lizard into the shower with them. My youngest son is special needs so he

It would probably be more unhealthy for the skink. Soap and hot water will not do him well.

Not a doctor, but I don't see it doing your son any harm as long as (and possibly even if TBH) he doesn't lick the skink lol. Splashy makes a good point about the soap though. Maybe meet in the middle by putting the skink in a spare plastic storage tub (or similar) to keep them out of trouble and then put the tub nearby in the bathroom so your son can still see/chat with the skink?
