so i’ve had my bts since he was maybe a week old and i’ve been feeding him cat food, when they are up to a month i know you feed them everyday but i forgot abt that and fed him or her everyday for two-3 months, his body doesn’t seem overweight but under his chin seems to look overweight, i started a diet for him but i’m not 10% sure if it’s overweight, if his chin is normal, or if it’s something else unrelated. i was going to just make him get a lot of exercise and feed him how i was supposed to for after the first month and feed him every 2-3 days mixing some veggies in there until he is a year where you start to feed wet dog food once-two times a week. ill post a few pictures of him here

Feeding everyday at that age is recommended. Your skink looks fine to me. No worries.

Hello Nibuioto,
Your Halmahera's body looks a good weight. Its not too clubby or too skinny. To answer your concern about its neck I believe that skinks have a fatty jowl such as a Tegu or an Iguana. Its a benign part of the lizard's body that grows at it does. Here's a picture of a lightly chunkier one with the same protrusion.

thank you for your answer, as long as it’s nothing to worry about i’ll just continue to monitor his or her health, thank you!!

Some have more prominent jowls than others. One of mine.
