BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hello! The other day I noticed my blue tongue Sherry, drop what I can only guess to be a sperm plug(with no poo/urate). Thing is, it didn’t look like sperm plugs from photos I’ve seen, it was clear and had little yellow bits in it. It did turn a more white color as it dried however. I’ve had her for a little over a year now, the person I got her from labeled her as a female that supposedly wouldn’t breed due to being too young at the time, so was this actually due to the fact that Sherry is a male?

From what I can tell (and I'm no expert) those are probably sperm plugs. The two separate white clumps are likely the plugs and the clear-ish mucus is probably semen or something to help lubricate their passage. They don't look like urate to me, but I'm sure admins will have a more concrete answer.

You've got a male. If the seller couldn't breed the skink, that person would have no way of knowing if it was female or not. I've been sold females that ended up being males myself.
