Hi, just bought a new viv for my angry little skink. I’ve seen lots of multi level designs and all sorts of interior designs of vivs online and has made me think my viv is quite boring in comparison. Can anybody give me some inspiration or ideas. Thanks

Maybe try sticking a little garden gnome/statue in your enclosure to give it a little identity. If it has a little rough texture your skink can use it to remove their skin, they're pretty cheap and hard to break, harsh light and misting doesn't really change their shape because they're meant to brave the elements of outside. One of things that caught my interest is how some species live in transition zones, (Edge of forest/scrublands). Which I think would be amazing to pull off in an enclosure of 4ft long or larger. Have it start off on one side as forested, which could be your cooler/ higher humidity side then as you get closer to mid enclosure change over to a more arrid/scrubland type look with maybe some kind of rock wall with a low wide ledge for basking. Universal rocks has a tree background with root system which would work well for this idea (instead of using it on the back, use it one of the sides). I find most enclosures I look at, while quite nice a beautiful are setup in a front to back type system.

Another idea I have and I think it work well for someone that is conservation minded, to make a statement. It is similar to the above. However instead of a forested side. Have it be a stump or two. maybe create a sawhorse and make it look overgrown (so it can be used as a hide). you could also make a "safe' fake axe stuck into one of the stumps. then as you move towards the other side of the enclosure make it look deforested?

Just some ideas roaming around inside my head.
