Hi, I've got a rescued skink and he missed a scale, the vet looked him over before the lock down and didn't find anything wrong with it, after a few sheds part of the scale near the missing one had become hardy and rough, no stuck shed or mites, there's a small pink bump under it that I guess it's flesh?
Is he growing back the scale he's missing?
It doesn't look like scale rot and he's acting fine overall so I didn't really want to get another appointment...
What's wrong with this broken scale?
