Skink Clicking/Popping?

Only my second thread/third post ever here but this has been something that's been killing me to know the cause of! My Halmahera, Ringo, tends to make clicking/popping noises when I have him out. Everything I've read has ranged from "it's fine" to "may be a respiratory infection" and its driving me wild.

I got audio of the clicks, granted bad audio since I had to get it kind of close to him to hear it, but the clicks can be heard fairly clearly at 5 seconds, 15 seconds, and 23 seconds.

I think my stomach may have made weird noises at some point so ignore anything beyond those time stamps

Some of the facts about him to help:
>He eats fine, some might even say he's a glutton. I actually have started putting him on a higher veggie ratio diet because he's getting a bit barrel shaped.
>He is in no way lethargic so long as he's warm- just now I was letting him nap on my stomach to help him heat up faster and made the grave error of shifting him. He woke up and immediately started running around the bed. The warm up then sudden activity led him to pee/release the flood/whatever you wanna call it all over my sheets. Thanks Ringo.
>The noises aren't consistent with him breathing, in fact he doesn't seem to make them when he does big huffy breathes. I've had moments where I've felt his sides go in and out from big breathes and no noise. He doesn't always make them too, when hes running around or entertaining himself he doesn't seem to make the noises. They seem to be pretty much only there when he's just sitting or contently napping.
>Definitely no sounds I would consider wheezing, coughing, or sneezing. Huffing happens all the time but I know for a fact that's from him showing his discontent of being manhandled by us dirty humans.
>No crustiness, runny eyes, or any of that stuff that seems to be common with RI.
>He's normally a lot brighter colors than he looks in the photos, he's just about to go into shed.
>He's mostly ever been on a mixture of reptibark and coconut fiber, but the substrate hasn't seemed to matter over the years. He consistently makes the clicks when I got him out.
> I keep his humidity up by dumping warm water into his substrate then mixing it around when I take him out once or twice a week. He also has a moss filled humid box.
>My friend thinks he's fine, she's far far more experienced with reptiles than I am but she's never had a blue tongue skink. I feel her opinion is probably right but still have that nagging bit in my brain wondering about it.

I've seen popping sounds mentioned for two different reason. The first being a respiratory illness. The second for having some substrate lodged in their nose. I'm not sure if the source is/was reputable. Your stomach noises are quite normal for a worried human. I'm sure one of the more experienced BTS owners will be able to help out.

I'd agree with your friend that your skink is fine. They can make all sorts of funny noises.
