Hey everyone,
I’m new here and also new in the terrarium hobby after having a corn snake 10 or so years ago.
I recently reserved my Bluetongueskink and I’m told by the seller that its a Gigas and Indonesian. But more than that I haven’t gotten. Now I’ve been looking around the net to try and pinpoint the species so I know how high the humidity should be.
I’ve had someone tell me that it might be an Irian Jaya. Could be it but I just want to be really sure.
Can you guys help me out, please?

Heya!,
Yea it isn't a IJ aparently. I asked the seller to contact the breeder of the ones he has and they are: Tiliqua Scincoidus Chimaera

Tough to tell as it appeared to be going opaque to shed. I'll let the Indo experts chime in on this one.

Yea I noticed a difference in the 2 that the seller has. Might be right that its going to shed.
The other one in the terrarium with the one I picked is a bit more yellow/goldish color but same markings.

Tanimbars and IJ's can be very similar looking so tough to differentiate. My first thought was also IJ, but on closer look, I agree that you were informed correctly that it's Tanimbar.
