My first post was deleted so I apologize if this is a double post! First time poster here.
Hello all! New Skink owner here.
I adopted this little goober from Petco when the self-quarantine started so I can be a responsible new skink owner as I’m spending so much more time at home.
Unfortunately Petco is not required to know the sex/species/age of their pets/skinks.
I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this little goob’s species so I can be more educated on the humidity and temperates.
Thanks all! I hope everyone has been safe!

Difficult to tell from pictures but it appears to be an IJ, along with their Merauke and Halmahara cousins they are the most common imports found in pet shops. Gender is impossible to determine at this age regardless of where purchased.
