Are these two skinks both gigas gigas

Hello I'm sorry if this sounds like a daft question but I am new bts owner, my son has one which he was told was an Indonesian (gigas gigas) that and she is gorgeous the bandings look almost pink whereas mine has more gold looking bands (not sure whether mine is a boy or girl) and was told that Huffy (my name for him/her) was also gigas gigas.
Can anyone tell me if this is the case.

Your sons skink is a halamara, where it is hard to tell from your picture, but yours looks like a IJ.

Thank you Janelle, unfortunately huffy is not as calm as my son's, and tends to head straight up to my hair to hide, but hopefully I will post some better pics soon as I think she is just the best, (not biased at all ), I am thinking huffy may be a girl as she was doing a slow tail swing earlier and someone said that the girls do that around the mating season?

Sounds good with the better pictures. And yes, some females will do that around males. So it is possible you may have a girl.

Yep, top one is for sure Halmahera. Hard to be certain from that picture of Huffy but it does look Gigas gigas also, probably not Halmahera though.
