Discoloured bumpy snout area

Hi all,

My son has an 2yr old Indonesian that he's owned for the last 6 months. She has been shedding regularly and eating well but In the last week we've noticed a slight discolouration around her snout and are worried it might be some sort of infection.
In the last few weeks we've changed her substrate completely and replaced with the same material and we finally added a humidifier that we manually turn on a couple of times a day.

Can anyone comment on this. Should we be worried?

From my understanding, it's not uncommon for Bluey's to get a chipped scale occasionally (for example, rubbing their head against a rock during shedding or just when removing food on their jaw). While it looks like it should heal over time; since it doesn't look swollen - keep a watch on behaviour changes and check for swelling or infections over the next few days. If the mark becomes bigger or you see something of concern, then always good to get it checked out by a professional.

Also - am I going crazy or is the nostril not visible in the image? Probably just the flash/camera lighting causing an illusion... But the scale doesn't directly cover it; right? Sometimes the shedding can get stuck directly in the nostril (which can make them rub their head even more than normal). Perhaps double check this isn't the case :)

This type thing constantly happens here at this time of year when they're going into season. They'll rub their faces on the glass doors to try and get out. I put a little peroxide on it if it looks like a rubbed off scale. Sometimes it's just leftover food. Doesn't look like a concern to me either.
