Tank size

Is a 2 foot by 1 foot tank big enough for a baby bluey

For a baby yes. Babies grow quickly so don't expect to get any more than a few months of use before upgrading.

I found a 100L tub was pretty good for my easterns until they were about 12 months old , at which time I build plywood 4ft x 2ft x 1.5ft tanks for them .
A 120L tub ( W:52cm H:44cm L:75cm) is a very good size for a bluetongue (or bearded dragon) rearing tub for 1 or 2 up to about 1 year old.
Prefect height to mount a nanohood for a 26W UVB200 under the lid and ensure good levels of UVA & UVB.
Perfect size for a 7W heat pad (( takes up about 1/5 to 1/4 the floor space ), and room for a larger hubbahut or a couple of small sized hubbahuts , a water dish and a food dish.
For the little skinks , you want a tank that allows for a good thermal gradient and good UV gradient , and isn't so big it overwhelms them or so big an area that their bugs can easily elute them and hide.

Yeap, this is the best advice when it comes to tank sizes. In my Phuket flat for sale
here I have a big one. Of course it takes a lot of place considering my flat is not big but I love my little pet and will do everything so it will feel comfortable.
