Bluey Doesn't Like New Beardie or New Cage??

I just recently completed building my 9 month old blue tongue a 6x2x2 custom wooden enclosure and I moved him in about a week and a half ago. Initially he was exploring and eating and did not seem stressed out at all but this weekend he was hiding and would run and hide when I got near the enclosure like he did when he was a baby. Secondly, this weekend I got a new bearded dragon (He is about 4 years old and I am taking him off the hands of a friend who is going to college). They are obviously in different enclosures, the beardie is in a 40 gal long that he has been in his entire life (Possibly looking to upgrade him). The issue is that the chest that I have the beardie's cage on is very close to the ground whereas my BTS is up about 3 ft. My BTS was getting very close to his plexiglass doors which was not normal behavior and seemed to be looking down at our new addition to the family. I covered the bottom 3 inches of the BTS's windows with construction paper so that he can no longer see my beardie but I am not sure if that is going to help or not. I guess my big question is if his fearful behavior is coming from the new cage or the new pet and how I can help him through it. Thank you so much for any advice you can give me, I just want to give both my boys the best life that I can. Below is a pictures of my bluey's new cage if that helps at all

My BTS is also now not eating and having very runny poops. Hopefully just from stress but I thought I'd add this information

Did you give the paint / stain / varnish on the timber and the glue if you used any , at least a few weeks to completely dry and outgas , it might be the skink is getting made sick by the fumes that are building up as the paint/stain/vanish and glue outgases and generates fumes .

A 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank is in effect a confined space and unless very well ventilated ( forced by a fan and large vents ) the fumes / gases will accumulate and are likely to reach toxic levels.

I'd put the skink back in the smaller tank for now and watch to see if the symptoms subside , give the new tank at least a month for the outgasing/fume release to decline .

If the symptoms persist for a few more days , I'd collect a sample of the sloppy poo and take it and the skink to your local vet to be assessed for parasites or other deseases.
