Humidity to help shedding

Hi all!
It's getting to be shedding time again with my little guy (2 month old northern)
his last shed (and first shed with me) was very weird and piecey and i think he retained some on his eye (posted about it on here a little bit ago) as he's always rubbing it on things and closing it still so i was thinking i'd bump up his humidity while he's in shed to help him out this time. it usually reads 40% or just under and i misted pretty good last night when i noticed that he got very grey and about to shed- now humidity is at a whopping 80%
wondering if humidity that high is ok for him while he's shedding?
He's on cypress mulch
