Getting my first skink soon - Tempature questions

Postby MeepyMeeps » Sat Aug 03, 2019 12:12 pm

Just wanted to make sure im in the ball park for temps for my northern. I have an Exoterra Large Wide @36x18x18 with a lighting combo kit along with a CHE for nightime.
My temps during the day are about 75-79 on the cool side and about 85 - 90 on the hot end with a basking temp of 110-115 and about 40% humidity. During the night its about the same just without a basking temp.
I was considering getting a lower wattage che but im not sure and just wanted another opinion.

Sounds perfect, maybe slightly decrease the basking temp but it’s still in range and *almost* the same as my northern :)

Glad to hear it. Gonna lower the wattage of my CHE and mess around a bit more then I can finally buy my boy.
