Is this mouth rot?

So Liz has had this black stuff around her mouth off and on for the past few days now. At first I thought it was dirt because it came off but now it’s back and I’m not so sure.

I want to take her to the vet but I don’t know if it’s actually something serious or just dirt.

Does not look serious. Mouth rot would be seen inside the gums, redness, swelling or cheesy substance. Seems to be just dirt collecting there.

Yup, definitely doesn't look like mouth rot. Just looks like stuck in dirt or something. My northern gets this all the time when he burrows.

I should have updated sooner- it was dirt! She went into shed the very next day and it came off lol. Thanks guys! :D
