Irian Jaya and Halmahera breeding
I’m fairly new to BTS but already have 7 of them!
I have a halmahera pair and would like to breed them. The problem is I can’t find any info at all on breeding the Halmaheras....anyone have any luck breeding them? I am also gathering info for breeding my IJs when they get to a mature size in a few years. Any and all info would be appreciated!!!

Re: Irian Jaya and Halmahera breeding
You can't find any info on breeding Halmaheras because nobody has really had success with them. To my knowledge, it has only been done a handful of times. IJ's on the other hand have been successfully bred for years. They are brumated in the winter and paired shortly thereafter similarly to Northerns.
