BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hi guys, new bts owner here. I have my bts from expo and it is wc tiliqua gigas. Seller told me he was captured on ceram island. I keep him on cypress, coco fiber mix and sphagnum moss in humid hide. Humidity is from 75 to 99% in whole enclosure (mistking 2x per day) so i hope i have right humidity for him.
I would like to know exactly what subspecies he is if possible so i can have best possible conditions for him

You have yourself a beautiful classic Indonesian. Tiliqua gigas gigas.
He actually takes me back to the "olden days" when almost all Indos looked like that and were so much easier to tell apart from the other Indonesian subspecies. Sigh... Gorgeous skink!

Thank you Susann. Shame that no one here in my country breed them (or i can't find him) so after some months of looking for breeder i bought wc.
Right now we have one cure with panacure in plan next week because of parasites and he have salmonella too, but i am waiting for lab tests if it is human or reptile salmonella type.
I would like to have this all behind me already so i can stop stress him out

Panacure is good, but you really don’t need to worry about salmonella. Almost all reptiles carry salmonella bacteria; it does not hurt them at all. Humans always need to take common sense precautions when handling any reptile, because yes, there is a minuscule risk of contracting salmonella from them, so wash your hands when you’re done handling him and you should be perfectly fine.
