Too Fat?

Hi I was wondering if my skink is getting over weight? How do I tell if he is getting too fat? How can I keep him a healthy weight?

Many people tend to believe their skink is at an unhealthy weight when in reality it is healthy. If your skink is a little thick, thats fine. But if you post a picture we could give you our opinions. As far as managing its weight, that comes down to the amount you feed and how often you feed. Adult skinks only need to be fed once or twice a week. I feed mine twice per week but if I noticed my skinks gaining weight, I'd cut it down to once per week.

He doesn’t look too fat to me, although I’m no expert. Ven looks chunkier than that and I didn’t think he was too fat but maybe he could do with losing a bit of timber after seeing your pics haha.
