Noodles says Merry Christmas. He is still fighting his bad infection, but we took a break from his night snuggling to get a quick photo

Re: Merry Christmas to all!
I love all the adorable pictures on here. So cute.
Noodles is hanging in there. Been to the vet 3 times now. He is still fighting his bad infection. His blood work is looking better though, so I am happy for that. He still won't eat on his own. Only if I hand feed him and baby talk him. He goes back to the vet on the 4th.

Well if I ever take that plunge and go for it I know who to see. My wife's family are from Bayshore. We spend many summers up at Jones Beach and Robert Moses. Conveniently right during baby season!

Casper is beautiful! Very pale scales, but there's still that awesome patterning
Honestly, it'd be too hard for me to breed and sell baby skinks, I'd end up keeping them and having far too many for my own good

Re: Merry Christmas to all!
Oh I hear that. I always want to keep them all! My main purpose is to allow all who want to keep these awesome animals to be able to purchase a happy, healthy captive bred skink. One less import. Reptile keepers or those looking to be same often purchase imported skinks and spend more at the vet than the price of the animal. I want to help change that and make the ownership experience positive. We lose many prospective owners and reptile lovers to the woes of keeping sick animals sold by unscrupulous vendors.
It is extremely difficult to let them go, which is why I first entertain local sales only, so I can meet the new owners. If shipping becomes necessary I have my friend do it for me (owner of Repxotica, a reptile specialty store). I am currently helping set up his own breeding colony and will be supervising this years breeding. He has many unrelated pairs. We will have many offerings on Long Island this year! This years project for me will be sunrise northerns and NSW Easterns. I also have friends breeding my previous protege with my unrelated. Wish me luck!
